Meet the provider
Celeste Saunders has been a Registered Nurse since 1992. She has worked in many
settings, focusing on critical care medicine for the first half of her career. She then
practiced geriatrics, home care, and as a healthcare administrator. Seeing the growing
need in each setting for mental health care, she decided to return to school to become a
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. In this setting, she has fulfilled a passion to help her
patients become the healthiest version of themselves by combining her knowledge of
physical medicine and psychiatry.
She initially graduated from Harford Community College in 1992. In 2018, she
graduated with her bachelor’s degree from Stevenson University. She then went on to
graduate from Walden University in 2022 with a master’s degree in psychiatric/mental
health nursing and became board certified by the American Nurses Credentialling
Center (ANCC).
In her spare time, Celeste enjoys spending time with family, knitting, listening to music,
and laughing. One of her favorite things to do is spend time with her grandchildren and
cruise to new places every year with family. She is a passionate supporter of the
LBGTQIA+ community, the addictions community, and other marginalized communities.
